Rana to debut In Kollywood Film Soon

Rana Daggubati who acclamied best critics with his first telugu movie Leader and now reveals of doing a tamil film soon at a event.

Rana who debuted in to films with a filmy background of being the son of Suresh Babu.Rana grabbed a bollywood film titled Dum Maaro Dum which is to be screened this April.Rana has done his education at Chettinad Vidyashram in Chennai. As the actor was bought up in the city owns a home and joys with family in holidays.

Rana Daggubati graced the event organised by Sri Kala Sudha Telugu Association to receive best debutant actor award for his Leader film.

After receiving the award Rana Shares his connection with Chennai as “My favorite actors are Rajini and Kamal and happy that Rajini’s forthcoming film is named after me. My debut film has to happen in Tamil but it turned out in Telugu. I would surely do a Tamil film very soon and the talks are on regarding this." He spotted enthusiastic on the event and also said that he is tense as his two films to hit the screens in April.

South Indian beauty Asin has been approached to Rana

According to reliable sources, South Indian beauty Asin has been approached by the makers of South Indian superstar Rajinikanth's next film Rana to be directed by K.S. Ravikumar under the banner of Eros International and Chennai based Ocher Studios.

The sources said even a one-line summary of the script has been narrated to the actress and she is keen to team up with the super star, since the script fascinates her and the film has A.R. Rahman composing the tracks. Notably, Asin had worked with Ravikumar earlier in Varalaru.

Meanwhile, Rana is said to be a live action magnum opus with Rajinikanth playing a triple role. Made in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu, the film will go on floors in March and will hit screens in early 2012.
